RVC Guiding Principles

RVC will endeavour to give everyone great value for money and an enjoyable volleyball experience by:

• Setting optimum squad sizes for Open League at 8 members with team entry of more or less on negotiation, depending on player numbers;
   
• Making “fill-in” requirements a team decision through team contacts, and only in cases where forfeit is the only other option;
   
• Offering the option of players playing with their friends on registration;
   
• Ensuring each team has a "manager/contact person" who will communicate effectively between club and team, and ensure the team functions well, and;
   
• Understanding that Open League teams may not necessarily require or desire a coach during games.
